Tires Hankook or Goodyear
Goodyear Wrangler ultra terrain, awesome in the snow and fairly quiet.
They've been performing great with no issues. But as you can tell from me getting 42,000 miles out of my original Michelin Pilot Sport tires... I don't drive very hard. Tires come with 10/32 tread depth and today, with 53,000 miles on the car... America's Tire said they're still at 8/32 tread depth after 11,000 miles. Anyhow... tires are holding up well... don't seem to be any more noisy or quiet than the original OEM spec tire... and are holding up great.
On Tuesday, I had new tires put on the car. Nothing special, some goodyear assurance all seasons. The new tires made a big difference in ride quality and handling.
Eu am pus asa pe 18 si am prins uscat si umed momentan, o sa vad la iarna.
Nu mi s-au parut zgomotoase si nici la consum n-am observat vreo diferenta.
Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Seasons.
I enjoy more spirited driving which sometimes does involve sliding the car a little. However for daily use, they're pretty quiet and are pretty good on tread wear.
I made it just shy of 60k. Now I have Coopers. The Good Years were way better in ice and snow.
Goodyear wrangler duratracs came on mine, I liked them for my first a/t tires. 30k right now, I feel like they could go to 50k but unfortunately there is a nail right on the line of the repairable area in one tire.
Tires I've run that have been trouble-free: Goodyear, Michelin, Toyo, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, and Firestone.
Tires that have failed me catastrophically: Kelly, Continental, Uniroyal, and General.
At the 30,000 mile oil change, my dealer told me my tires were bald. They are the Hankook GT tires EX 235/60R18.
I went online that minute and checked to see for how many miles the Hankook GTs EX 235/60R18 were rated for, and they are rated for 75,000.
For what it's worth, my Tiguan came with Hankook Ventus Noble 2 - GARBAGE. Honestly, screw VW for choosing the cheapest RFP'd crap. And screw Hankook for making awful, awful tires - shameful. Gone are the days of VWs being factory equipped with Michelin, Pirelli, and Bridgestone.
