Tires Hankook or NITTO
Hankook ion evo on my 2022 LR. Love em. Don’t care about handling, the car still drives like a go cart in my book. Quiet and efficient tire
I bought Hankook evo for the Lexus and it was very smooth, before I changed the car.
20k on the 19" Hankook Ion EVO AS
So the ride is quieter the handling is quite good and the efficency is amazing.
Hankooks are great. I find them quieter than the Michelins. 2019 M3 LR AWD. Got them in May and drove all over AZ and CO with them. Hwy and off road too. Heavy rain and mud. Haven’t tried them in snow yet.
I’ve posted this several times. I bought a set of rims that had used Nitto Grappler A/T tires on them. I got 50k before the wife run over something and cut one. I bought a new set and am at 80k plus now. Expecting many more.
I have been running 165/80 hankook k435 on my daily driver 1302 for over a year and haven't had any issues so far. Might want to check availability on those too.
I've been on the hankooks for about 6 weeks and I love them. I didn't see an increase in efficiency compared to the Goodyear but they're silent.
I went from stock-like tires (Atturo TrailBlades, P275/60r20) to Nitto Exo-Grapplers (LT275/60r20, E-rated). I lost approximately 1mpg highway, 1.5-2 city.
Only fly in the ointment seems to be the OEM tires, Hankook Kinergy GTs. I've noticed, in the very short time we've had the car, that they are noticeably noisier than the Cooper Endeavors we had on our trade in, and the Michelin Cross Climate 2s we have on our other car.
If you're just driving on dry pavement, they're ok. They are absolutely horrible on wet pavement (poor grip and hydroplane easy). My daily driver came with them on it new and couldn't wait to get them off.
