Tires Hankook or Pirelli
Muy buenas. Se las pusimos a un Clío que tenía Pirelli y la diferencia en el andar fue muy notoria. Las volvería a comprar
Rs4s are the super long (ive done 24hrs on a set) lasting, heatcyle to death with almost all its tread left tyre of choice... But conti ecf last just as long and run at least 1.5s faster per lap (@ wgi).
I do endurance racing as well and the sponsored tire is the Hankook Ventus RS-4. They are a great 200TW tire for traction and durability. If you abuse it they won’t last. They are directionally treaded, but if you run in the dry it won’t matter which direction you run them, so rotating doesn’t have to be an issue. Similar to the AR-1, good lifespan for the performance at the grip levels when compared to the competition.
Kankook RS4, Khumo V730, Conti ECF, Falken RT660+ are tires I would consider on long lasting side of the performance category. I'm not sure they even make the RS4 now but there should be lots of old stock. Those tend to last so long you end up heat cycling them before burning up the rubber.
Ca alternative, recomand Hankook. Eu am de vara cu clasa A la aderență pe drum umed si 69DB ca zgomot. Sincer, își merită toți banii.
Rs4 is the answer I've ran them on the track at 30° in freezing rain and snow and I didn't die
I’ve run RS4s for the last 3 years. First set lasted 2 years, about 14 track days and 10K miles total between street driving (April to October) and track miles. They saw rain both on track and street without issue. They would have lasted longer but I picked up a puncture on one of them. It’s not a fast tire but it lasts and is very flexible. I’ve driven them in high 30 to low 40 degree weather with no drama.
Must be a new hankook style. But based on the mileage warranty at 50k that’s pretty solid. Especially for a low profile tire. I would see more reviews based on the performance of the tire. How’s the noise when driving. Any vibration or anything like that.
My 21 R-Line came stock with Pirelli Scorpions. I hated them. Two back tires blew out. They road rough and felt every bump. Atlas suspension is rough enough.
These tires came on my car, so they got the brunt of the new car testing fun. While these were good tires for: noise, efficiency I didn't think I'm going to get these again due to: Hydroplane prone. Winter traction: passable, but not great. Dry handling: again, not great, you could feel the tires wanting to give up in some cornering situations.
