my mum has these Hankooks on her Peugeot 308 and they also seem to be okay for the price ... haven't driven much with it personally in the winter but i didn't hear her complain either
EDIT: I bought Hankook Winter i\*cept RS3s, they are silent comparing to Kinergy Eco 2. I am happy that I did not buy allseason for winter, this year seems to be more almost ice roads then previous years, these feels good even on wet road.
2022 Model S Plaid purchased used and needed new front tires. Picked me up a pair of Hankook Ventus iON A 101Y 265/35/R21. Brand new from eBay purchased pair for under $300 !!!
I am using a Westlake 265/65/17 SU318 tires for my Ford Ranger, and quite honestly it performs better than my previous fitted Goodyear and my Bridgestone Dueler HT.
Hankook Ventus V12 EV02. Hankook's have became my favorite tire in the last few years after doing tires/mechanics for 20 years.
In comparing equal sizes, the EVO3 appears to be heavier, have more stabilized treadblocks, and stronger sidewalls/belts, but made with a softer rubber compound. Probably a better tire for track use.
Just got the hankooks last month swapped the kumhos at 40k. Slightly louder than the kumhos but not by much. As an earlier person said insanely better in heavy rain/standing water I felt like I was driving an suv the last time I was in a deluge just wicked right though it. Efficiency seems about the same as kumhos.
One review says it's quiet, but the other review says it's loud:
Ah, west lakes, balance like shit like Rovelos. They’re a low cost low tier tire that dealers install to keep costs cheap overall.
These tires are not great. My GTI I bought had them on and I’m just riding them out. This will be their last season. They’ve been loud the entire time I’ve had them and aren’t great on any road condition.
