Tires Kumho or Firestone
Up to you, but I wouldn't go high end on a C1. I wouldn't cheap out but go midrange. Something like Firestone MultiHawk 2s.
I have Kumho Crugen on my 4runner. But I am very happy with these tires. No road noise at all.
I like my Firestone destination at2 tires
I recently got the Firestone destination xt’s and they’re great. I only had Goodyear duratracs to compare to, but it was a vast improvement.
Firestone Indy 500s on my e36 and conti extreme contacts on the 335i. The 500s are solid for the price
Currently running Firehawk Indy 500s on my MK7.. Great grip, little to no road noise, a bit cheaper than the Michelins....
Went with the 730s all around this year, much much happier.
The only tire I've had that didn't feather in the rear was the Kumho ECSTA Platinum LX. But, it's easy to brake the tires loose on APR Stage 1.
Had bad experience with Kumhos. My Kumhos got a sidewall bulge last year.
I had vibration problems on my ‘16 GTI (at 75+ MPH) with new Firehawk Indy 500’s on new Neuspeed hub centric wheels too. Balanced 3 times still the same problem. Swapped into different tires. Problem completely solved.
