I've bought 4 sets of Kumho tires over the last 8 years, Ecsta SPT, XS twice, and most recently v720. I don't have any complaints. All worked well for street, autox, and track use.
I just had Kumho PS91s mounted. Did a little spirited driving today. They feel good.
Kumho Ecsta ASX are good a/s tires for the price.. and they have free shipping now on this tire? My experience with Kumho tires.. they are good tires, but if you drive them hard they do wear quickly.
Depends on where you live, etc. so far the best tire I have had, in terms of cupping, or lack thereof, are the Kumho ECSTA Platinum LX
Kumho tires are the highest rated bang for the buck tire on the market. I will never buy another brand of tire.
Kumho is a good brand, but there are many others. Don't skimp on your tires, many non-car people simply buy the cheapest, long-lasting tires they can find and only to discover they sold off their safety in the process.
I bought a set of Kumho Ecsta PA31 HP for my GTI and they are probably the best all around all-season tire I've purchased! Great prices too. They are at about 3000 miles now and they are SO quiet, great in the rain, not bad cornering.
I have 195/50R15 KU25s over 8" and compared to the same sized Falken ZE329, they don't look as good. The sidewall bulges out on the Kumhos.
I bought these exact tires for my gli. I don't know what the deal is with them, but they flat out SUCK in the snow. The are by far the worst performing all season tire in terms of snow usage that I've ever run.
I have the KH16, and they have the worst wet weather traction I have ever encountered. I have them on a Pontiac Grand Prix.
