Tires Kumho or Goodyear
Have the Kumho Ecsta, standard fitted here in the Netherlands. Have to say they are very silent and durable. Drove approx 37k km with them. Have also Continental Premiumcontact winter/snow tyres. Not bad too.
I literally just got these installed last week and I am really happy with them. Way better grip and quieter than the stock falken tires.
Had Kumhos on my Celica for 4 years and they’ve been pretty decent to be fair, even wear aswell.
I used to run kumho ecstas on my saabs and they were great all seasons. Handle well in the dry and safe in the snow. Best tires I've had at that price point and they were good enough that i wouldn't bother spending more.
2016 mazda 6 touring here..:when i bought the car with 27k miles the dealer put brand new Kuhmo tires on…:i just replaced them at 91k miles with continental extreme contacts. so yes….i would recommend the kuhmo as a good tire. i got 64k miles out of those bastards.
For the tyre you posted, there is only a few mm till you reach the tread marker which indicates that you will need a new tyre again very soon. On the other hand, one of the best premium tyres in the market only costs you around 50-70 pounds for a new one and it can last for 40000 miles
My EV6 Wind has factory issued Kumho tires. Just had my 16k service and the treads are fine. I am hoping to get 40k out of these.
I replaced my Proxes with Kumho Ecsta PA51. They feel more comfy, but feel like they have a bit more road noise.
True tho. You know why it's called Goodyear? Because you're tires are only good for a year. We had em put on our van and in about 9 months they were cracked and rotted. Even better the fucking tire shop wouldn't warranty them even though we were well below the mileage on the warranty.
Stock Goodyear tires on our 2020 MYLR were dead before 12,000 miles. Been buying tires from DiscountTire ever since.
