Tires Laufenn or OEM Subaru
I am using laufen s fit as on my 2023 MY dual.. it cost me 108usd per /tire got it at AMERICAS TIRE. I agree woth others on foam padding but i am least bothered bout it. Performace wise i see no difference in regular day to day driving. Infact have performed well in snow as well.. i am happy with it running almost 2k miles till now.
Over the last 2200 miles (3540km) since I put my snows on, I've averaged 26.4mpg, or 8.9l/100km. At least half of those miles are in decent storms. I don't know how people get such horrible mileage in these cars- mine gets better than any previous Subaru I've owned, while going a hell of a lot faster.
I've been running a set of the latter AS in the snow and they've been great for an AS considering the conditions.
Check out Laufenn for tire options. They are Hankook’s economy line, and they are solid tires at an affordable price.
I have a Subaru with new snow-rated tires. That doesn't mean it's true for every other driver on the road.
Laufenn is well regarded as a practical option.
Laufenn S fit AS is not bad, it is a hankook company and usually 1/3 the price of Pirelli with very similar performance.
Laufenn provides far less grip, especially when wet.
The fucking console rattles like a mother fucker. The stock tires are pieces of shit. The clutch pedal will make noise when it is cold because they used shitty spot welds on the pedal assembly. The ac compressor will probably fail within 50k miles.
