Been running them for 3 winters and they've been great.
I'm happy to report that after several months of driving I've enjoyed the Reliant a lot. They've been good performers in the wet and are wearing quite nicely.
Over the course of almost 10 years. I have found Nexen tires have always had better ride quality. Less wear issues. And don’t dry rot as quick as these big name brand tires.
The Goodyear reliant from Walmart are affordable and unlike other cheapo tires the side walls aren’t paper thin
nexen if u like that cc2 pattern. cheaper too. wrg5 if u deal with potholes.
Nexen. They don’t do much marketing, but they make good tires and have one of the best included warranties.
I work at Goodyear and they look like normal new snows to me, the softer rubber can pick dirt and other shit up faster than other tire models if not driven in winter conditions if you’re referring to the faded coloration
It's an ok tire... Better than Chinesium brands but barely keeps up with other bargain brands like Cooper, Nexen, Kuhmo, Falken, etc... "Good for a year" is an old joke about these tires and unfortunately, although not really accurate, their longevity seems a lot lower than older Goodyear tires.
Back in the early 2000's I had a set of these on my old K5 blazer (94 model)... They didn't drive like they were made of rubber so much as a hard plastic. I felt the traction was very poor with them. After that I've been running KO2's since. Won't purchase goodyear again.
When they were new, they were great. As soon as they started losing tread my traction in the rain was terrible. Certainly won't be buying these again. Be warned.
