Tires Nexen or Laufenn
I have only used their previous version, Winguard Sports. Can't complain about them. They are a performance winter, so snow and ice won't be as good as a Xice Xi3, blizzak ws-80 or Hakkapeliitta tire

I've been quite happy with my Nexens on my E39. They're quiet and smooth. Oh yeah, grip in the snow is quite good too.

I run Nexen N'Fera SU1 tires on my GTI in the summer: https://www.nexentireusa.com/tires/high-performance/n-fera-su1 Best budget tires I've ever tried. They are wearing nicely, grip in dry and wet is great. I was VERY surprised about the wet weather performance. I'd buy them again and again, no questions asked.

I ran Nexen N-Fera SU1 on my GTI this summer and they were great. Wet/Dry performance for the daily driver was great, noise wasn't an issue either. Seem to be wearing well.

Good for the money.. they are indeed 'budget tires'.. Perform decently on dry.. but wet traction is not all that good and I thought they wore fast.. like 30k miles.. rotated them every 5k..

I have some Nexen tires on a Kia Optima and all four are "out of round" with only 17k Miles. Like riding on square block. Crappy tires!

These tires have 17k miles on them in the city and are completely useless now. It feels like I am driving in my Jeep offroad. The car literally pitches and rolls at low speeds; at highway speeds it vibrates badly.
