i run 195/60R16 Nokian Haakepelittas for winter and brother let me tell YOU, i'm very cautious about when i get into VTEC while driving on dry asphalt with them.
My Russian made Nokians have served me well, with no issues at all.
I have just over 6500 miles on my set of Nokian nAT LT275/65/20s. Echoing some of the other replies here... I've had the opposite experience and for me, overall they have performed simply better than the OEM Pirellis.
I have the opposite experience. 4,000 miles on the tires so far and my efficiency is *better* than the Pirellis by about 5%. They are better off-road, handle the sand dunes better than Pirellis
Interesting review. I’ve been running my Nokian for over 13000 miles and I haven’t experienced what you have on the road. I’ve felt they are quite stable and handle super awesome compared to the stock AT Pirelli.
I see extremely harsh winter conditions and run Sparco Terra 16x7 +35 (bronze) with 205/60r16 Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 Studded on lifted 2023 BRZ 6MT. Wanted as much sidewall as possible for the types of roads I drive.
You should look at Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 or Continental Viking Contact 7. I’ve used both on my Mini and I’ve used Nokians since I got my first Mini. Blizzak WS-90 are good.
Love my Nokian Ones. Seem to be good on efficiency, wear, performance, and price.
I was upset I couldn't buy a new set of Nokians for the Grand Marquis. Been using them for the last 12 years. I had to settle for some BFGoodrich instead. Sucks.
Nokian Outposts: 2,390 mi. 9.8% worse efficiency. Would not recommend Nokians: Probably great offroad. Nothing short of scary on road. These tires are totally overwhelmed with the weight and power combo of the Rivian quad platform.
