Tires Pirelli or Goodyear
I just went out on my P zero Road tires for the first time yesterday and was plenty happy with them.
I went with the weatherready2 and they've handled brilliantly in northeast snowstorms. I'm talking blasting through the worst of Buffalo and Erie snowstorms this year with complete confidence while in slippery mode. If I get decent overall miles out of them, I'll get them again. I have had zero "I should've got snow tires" regrets.
For tyres, I go for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6. They are lasting well, are decent in wet conditions, have good, predictable grip and don't break the bank.
We replaced our right away and got the pirelli weatheractives. They are 100x better and great in the snow.
Got WeatherReady 2s on my SUV recently and really liking them
They rebalanced the OEM Continentals with some improvement, but they still vibrated. I replaced the tires at 36k with Pirrellis (sp?). Some improvement with the vibration but still.
I finally replaced the OEM Goodyear AT’s in favor of K03’s at 48k miles!
I currently have the Pirellis on my 2022 OffRoad. Ive had em for about 35,000 miles. I cannot wait to get rid of em. They dont grip in wet or snow. They are wearing faster than they should. I have roughly 5-6/32nds left.
I had Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on my X5 and hated them. I switched to Michelin CrossClimate 2’s and it feels much more planted to the road.
Current car has Goodyear, the cheapest model. And terrible in snow and ice.
