Tires Pirelli or MRF
I had some of those pirelli I did notice it had a bit of a louder ride then the kumoh I came off of, but the kumoh I had were different. And the pirelli lasted a lot longer. So I can say honestly you can’t go wrong with either or. I put in over 60k on the pirelli and about 49k on the kumoh
I have the runflat version that P7 on one of my cars. It's a great tire, has a lot of grip in the rain and it's pretty quiet for a runflat, so I imagine the non-runflat will be even better. Seems to be wearing well
Put the Pirellis on my 2018 CX5 last year and they feel better than the stock Toyos. Went with them over the cross climate bc I live in SoCal where it’s mostly sunny and definitely no snow. I feel like it’s quieter too and they’ve been holding up well, I commute about 40 miles per day.
Replaced my Dunlop after 20k with PIRELLI SCORPION WEATHERACTIVE. Highly rated on tire rack for RAV4s
No comparison with the P Zero AS Plus 3. It’s in a completely different class than that Nexen, which is a cheap version made solely for a large distributor.
Swapped them out at about 30K kilometers. Tread still had a lot of life but holy man were they bad tires. Slipping all over the place, rough on the road, trash quality all around. Put on Pirelli Scorpion AS plus 3s. Amazing difference - feels like im now driving the car it should have been this whole time. I love these new tires - quiet and comfortable as hell, absolutely no slipping wet or dry, and excellent cornering.
I have them on a non-turbo CX-5. I'm in San Diego, so a very different climate, and less than 10k on the tires now. But very good so far, I think quieter than the stock tires and good grip. Haven't noticed them wearing out quickly so far.
Every time this gets shared, I feel obliged to say that the Superhard tyre was never brought to a race weekend. Makes you wonder why they developed that tyre in the first place.
Well pirelli p4's where the lowest grip tires in rain and snow I've ever used even though they are 'all season'. Fwd cars should not do a 360 on snow at less than 15mph in a gentle turn. Never had that issue with any other brand of all seasons even in worse driving conditions.
My alfa came with pirellis p zeros, changing to Michelin ps4s was like discovering a completely different car. The previous owner of my AMG put some Pirelli P zeros on it for whatever reason. Car is awd but the tires can't handle a simple pull from a light.
