Tires Pirelli or Sailun
I just replaced the MXM4s on my SR+ after 42,000 miles with the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus Elect and have a whole 25 miles on them. Noticeably smoother ride and quieter.
I went through this exact debate 6 months ago, and I got the Pirellis. They are similarly quiet to the Michelins (at least as best as I can tell). Grip is good, better than the Michelins for sure. Efficiency seems to be very close... I'm certainly within 5%.
I got mine with the pirelli summers which are great.
P-Zeros are probably a bit softer and won’t give you as much life but better grip…
About to swap out the winter tires that came on the ‘19 tiguan I bought for the wife/hauling kids…. They’re sailun winter blazers….. seem like a great tire and from what I read when confirming they’re in fact winter tires seems they’re one of the best value winter tires so the brands probably not too bad.
My dad has been running that exact tire on his 98 Silverado for 3 years. They’ve held up great and still have 70% of tread left
I just bought these myself. So far so good.
They flat spot sitting overnight, but only noticeable really in colder temps (below 40 or so I'd say?)
I have 13k miles on mine and am down to the yellow replace tires soon line on my tread depth measurer.
I just replaced the stock Firestone Destination LE 2's on my 2019 Ridgeline AWD after 48,000 miles... I've put about 800 miles on this new set and I'm bummed. They are quiet and handle fine, but it seems like I feel every imperfection in the road and it seems overly harsh over rough roads.
