Tires Pirelli or Sava
Have these in 22 and they're infinitely better than the default scorpions. Range is comparable if not slightly better by maybe 5%
Pirelli Angel GT or GT2. Works in a broad range of temperatures, predictable. And plenty grippy to drag pegs.
I've had good luck with the Pirelli PZero (18")
Liked them, but wear was meh...
I have the +3’s on my Challenger and I love them. Get them for the money
The pirelli's are impressive tires, the tread life on them definitely isn't good, but performance wise they actually are very very nice. Sticky enough to hit the 3.0s 0-60 times of the quads, really surprisingly capable on light offroading, especially if you air down a bit, and surprisingly capable on snow.
Not sure if it’s just a difference in driving habits, but I just got my OEM Pirelli’s rotated with 30,000mi on them and I am still at 6/32 all the way around. R1T Quad, mostly highway, All Purpose (never use Conserve), Standard height. I feel like I’m the only person who likes the OEM Pirelli?
As mentioned the old tires were shot with 2016 date stamps and cracks all over. Replaced with a set of Pirelli P4 Persist AS Plus tires aka the cheapest legit all-season tire ($99/ea). Car drives much better now and will be much safer once the rains return.
Then switched to hyundai Genesis coupe wheels with Pirelli scorpions AS plus 3. Now I’m on 17” reika with Falken wildpeak at trail 245/65/17. I loss mpg/ev as well.
I recently got a set of pirelli at plus for my 3rd gen tacoma. Almost every morning when first driving I get a steering wheel shake at about 60 mph and then goes away after about a mile, had the tires re balanced, and road forced, still does the same thing. From discount tire…..i complained when I initially had them put on, they replaced all 4 with new ones and still had the same issue….i think its just a pirelli thing.
The Pirelli p zeros on my m sport 330e has been a nightmare. I swapped them out at least 3x in two years (live in NYC with lots of potholes).
