Tires Tesla or YOKOHAMA
Got a set of 4 of them for my 2010 4x4 5.7L and they are fantastic in the extreme winter and rain in the Northeast.
Yokohama Geolanders for tires. Drove another ~50 miles on packed snow roads once I hit the NMW and had zero issues with traction or sliding around.
The Yoke Advan Apex 601 was a damn good tire for the price. I moved to supercar 3's and it was only slightly faster.
Just replaced a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend GTs on my Mazda3.....after 81k miles. They still had a little wear left. Treadware warranty was 65k. No recent alignment but regular rotations. Never had a flat either, on crappy New England roads.
I have been driving the Yokohama Geolander M/Ts for 6 years & love them. First set lasted 5 years, and am on my second set. I live in Eastern WA at a 2000+ elevation and often get serious snow & ice on the roads, hills & in the mountains. I did a lot of research before buying them, and they have been great. About to buy some for my son's car, too.
Really enjoy Continental and Yoko. My last set of Continentals lasted 85k miles and I'd bet I could have gone another 15k if my car didn't need an alignment as all the tires had a ton of tread left on the inside and were to the wear bar on the outside.
I got the Yokohama YK-CTX when it was time for new tires and I feel like I am driving a new, better car. It is so much quieter and smoother. Ride quality has increased enormously.
I replaced all four with Yokohama Advent Ascends. These have been completely trouble free for the last 15,000 miles (24,000 km). I have not measured, but I'd bet I still have 8 or 9/32 left on all four. I expect them to last at least another 30,000 miles (49,000 km).
Wilderness forester handling steep grades like a champ, stock Yokohama Geolandar tires did not like climbing back up though
My MYP went 12k before replacement
