Tires Toyo or Firestone
I ended up buying 275/50/21 for my replacements. I'm not paying $400/tire. I think it was $220ea, and no issues after 25k miles. It's snowing in Indy now, and I'm fine. Slick roads, it's got grip.
I have been purchasing Toyo tires for some time now and really like them. I buy them for my truck though, MT and RT so they are large heavy tires. I buy them because they last and are tough.
I’ve only got a focus st but my firestone fire hawk indy500s have been really nice to me. Not 200tw so they’ll last longer but lots of grip and not terribly expensive
I've really enjoyed my Firestone Indy 500s. Plenty of grip and they give confidence in the rain.
I'm waiting on my factory tires to get a little more wear on them before I replace them. However, when I do I know I'm going with a much better set of Firestone tires then what the factory put.
Toyo Proxes R1R is a cheaper option if the car isn't super heavy.
I replaced my great condition hankook run flats with cheapo firestone weathergrips and they are better in every way. Warm weather, cold weather, rain, snow.. Better traction and ride comfort across the board.
They are OK... Toyo makes a good tire, but as far as all-weather tires go the Celsius 2 are just average and similar in performance to most mid-grade all-weathers like Falken, Nexen, or General...
You get what you pay for. The Toyos are garbage.
Don't replace with the toyo, they're crap.
