Tires Toyo or Nexen
Tires - I almost forgot! The Toyo tires were fine. Like any street tire, they got a bit greasy near the end of a 20 minute track session. Otherwise, no issues.
If you want the best of both worlds, get Toyo T1R's. They are an all around amazing tire. They stretch great and perform well in wet and dry conditions. My car has never felt more \"sure footed\" than when i had 195-45 T1R's on my 15x8's.
i like the nexen 195 45s thats what i have on my car and there wear rating is awesome. and they grip nicely once you get them warmed up. ive seen the toyos wear out very quick.
The Nexens don't stretch worth a damn, the federals aren't much better. If you want the stretch and need it to work the Toyo T1-R is your best bet.
On our prescribed sighting-lap line, the Optima's chassis proved compliant while the standard high performance dampers (fundamental design shared with the Sorento's dual flow dampers) and suspension tuning found a good compromise between a relaxed ride and more aggressive roadholding. Off the driving line, the stock Nexen touring tires didn't enjoy steering corrections at speed, and predictably squealed in protest.

I absolutely love my T1R's they stretch very well. here they are on a 9.5 and an 8.5"
I love my T1-R's. a 195 on a 7", the sidewall is completely flat and right in line with the edge of the wheel. they stretch very well on an 8"
My "Q" rated Toyo snows get extremely greasy as soon as the temperature gets to fifty or higher. I love them in temps below freezing, and on icy roads, but they're a little dangerous on warm days.
t1-r's suck.
