Just changed these out in my 2017! 67k miles. I really liked them, but they were unavailable at discount tire so now I’ve got Yokohama somethings.
Yokohama ADVAN Sport A/S actually is quite value for money so to speak.
For road tires I have Yokohama Avid GT on my Impreza and I’ve been very happy with them in the wet and light snow that we get in Memphis (they are a snowflake rated tire).
If you are shopping the 235/65 17 size you can get Yokohama g015 for 160 each. They are great tires loved them on my tacoma. Now I have wrangler AT Kevlar not as good imho
I put G015's on my 2021 premium around January and they did not lose traction a single time through last winter in Upstate NY. Took them through the Adirondacks with ≈8" of snow on forest roads to get to a ski mtn. Great upgrade imo over the stock G91F's
Yokohama geolander G015 is a great tire
Yokohama the best for XC90. Michelin great as always but Yoko wears well, soft, quiet, and comfortable. Grips well too.
I’ve had these tires for almost 7 years in FL on my Toyota Camry. I’m really only considering new tires because I moved to the cold. They’ve made it to about 60k miles in those 7 years and even drove me across the country.
I have the Ascend LX as my summer set but I couldn't quite find a direct comparison talking about the LX compared to the GT The LX's are supposed to have been rated for 85K, but they're already at 6/32s after 25K. Other than that I haven't had much of an issue with them
For anyone who lives in snowy climate, do you find OEM Yokohama tires suck in the snow? I live in Minnesota and it's winter wonderland now but I find myself slipping and sliding perhaps more than I should.
