Tires YOKOHAMA or Continental
In August 2020, I had Yokohama Avid Ascend LX installed on the vehicle and I have to say that 2 months later that was the best decision I made to swap the OEM's off. My CRV came back to what it used to be and even better in the driving experience. The road behavior is great, breaking is solid and my gas mileage went way down. Wet driving feel really safe.
Been running Continental SureContact RX in Texas for a while now
Not the same amount of rain as FL but we definitely have the heat
I replaced mine with Yokohama YK740 GTX's.
I run the WinterContactSI on my M3 (and had them on my R), and they have been my all time favorite snow/winter tire.
I loved the Conti viking 7's on my rav4 so much, I sold the Xi3's on my Prius Prime and switched to Contis as well. 225/45/17 mounted on 17x7. They seem to wear about as well as the Michelins but they grip much better in all weather conditions, are quieter than the already very quiet Xi3, and the handling is firmer.
Continental extreme contact DWS are what I've had in my RS for three years for non summer seasonal driving. They are excellent.
Tire wise it came with Continental Extreme Contact DWS I ran last year and through winter. I now have Falken RT615K+ on but will change as the cold approaches.
The accuracy improved after I installed new Yokohama 225/60/18 tires. With the stock Giti tires the speedo was showing 1-2mph over the actual speed which I believe was also affecting the MPG accuracy. The speedo is spot-on now with the new "60" series tires.
I am currently running some Yokohama Avid H4s, I have not been very impressed with them dry road handleing is nice however, snow and water is another story. I only got close to 35k out of these tires and I am looking for something that handles the same if not better and will most importantly give me better tread wear.
My 2013 Tig with continental contact-pro tires has just lost the 2nd tire to sidewall failure at only 30k mi. First was a blowout, thankfully while parked. Second was a slow leak. No known issue that would have caused side-wall failure. Never saw that before.
