Tires YOKOHAMA or Cooper
They did great in mild snow and have stood up well on treadwear with good range. I didn’t have high hopes for them but they have been great so far.
I’ve posted my fastest times with A052s and they lasted longer than all others except RS4s.
Cooper Discoverer's are my new favorite for what it's worth, on my second set. I abuse LT tires; long hi-way commutes, towing, and a lot of off-road.
AD09 are a good track tyre that is fine on the street. Didn't notice any degradation in noise or comfort compared to street tyres.
Both Bridgestone and Yokohama make 225/50-15s, which should work well on your wheels, too.
I got a set of cooper procontrols 3 months ago I think out the door it was about $1200 with an alignment. Worth every penny
I got a Full set of Yoko A052's for $100, and a Full set of RE71r's for $100.
I put them on my F150 and I love them. I decided to put them on my CRV too. Looks like my CRV took a hit in terms of fuel economy, but I noticed the tire shop underinflated them. Now that I put the recommended pressure, my range gauge might go down at a slower pace and eventually settle. Funny thing is they perform better than my winter tires in slush.
I have had my Cooper Discoverer Road & Trail A/T tires since Aug 2024. Tires are very noisy compared to the Falken tires that I replaced. I have also noticed a reduction in fuel economy. They work great in the snow but I can't deal with the noise.
These photos show what happened to two of my 265/75R16 E rated Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires after 4 years and 25k miles. One blew up and one developed a bulge.
