Tires YOKOHAMA or TIGAR
I have my second set of Yokohama Geolanders GO15s on my '14. The first set had inconsistent tire wear because I let them go without rotation a little too long. I replaced them at 50k. If they had worn evenly I feel I could have gotten the full 65k out of them.
The road noise and mileage are just as good as the Continentals that came stock on mine. I have that little extra grip on the gravel and dirt back roads.
Factory tyres wore through quickly within around 3 years, but the larger yokohamas I fitted then have barely lost 1mm of tread.
Yokohama is my choice. They tend to do very well on Hondas. They also last a long time too.
I drive a 2015 Fit with Avid Ascend GT tires. It can handle the midwest snow just fine. My last set of 4 lasted me a little over 36k miles / 4.5 years with some poor road conditions in the city and lots of highway driving.
I have Yokohama Avid Ascend GTs on my 15. I have 195/55R16s and I don't want to go any wider than that.
My experience with them has been very positive. They have more than enough lateral grip for autocross and tearing up back roads, but are still solid feeling in the frequent rainstorms of the east coast. And while we don't get that much snow where I am, it handles that well enough as well.
My avid ascends have been great for the last couple runs. I am at 225k miles almost. Had three pair. Only complaint is that I didn't get very near the advertised warranty mileage. More like 50k per set.
I bought the cheapest tires I could and drove like 1500 miles every 2 weeks... South Texas to New Mexico oilfield
Couldn't be more pleased though as a general rule sport "summer" tires generally don't do as well in the rain as all seasons so be warned... they were fine but not as good as the yokohama all seasons they replaced
Just got a new set of tires last week. Went with Yokohama Advance Sport A/S on my 2021 XSE. Very happy with the performance on dry and wet.
Just replaced mine at a little over 25,000 miles. From other posters I knew it was coming sooner rather than later. I ended up putting Yokohama Geolander A/Ts on
Only tires I’ve ever had a blow out on are Yokohamas. My falken wild peaks have been great
