I remember back in the day getting a set of 352's because I liked how they looked and Butler Tire had a discount on them, mine weren't so wide though, just 195/60 --- the review below is accurate, they were LOUD on asphalt but good in the wet and excellent on dirt/gravel, had them on a Saab 900 that I'd take offroad quite a bit.
yokohama geolandar g95a On a Subaru for 5 years, no problems, but light winter driving.
All that being said, Yokohama is popular in other counties ( Australia being a big one ) and is a great tire and reputable brand.
IN MY OPINION the best tires. Great in Mud, Sand and small to medium size rocky terrain. 3 yrs and counting with the same set, no complaints.
Have had them on my Toyota for two years in Vancouver. Good performance in all conditions. Snow, wet, dry, off road. I will replace them with the same.
I've had 2 sets of goeolander A/Ts and they were/are incredible. I'll never have another set of tires. I got 80k out of my first set and they're only rated for 60k.
I’m on my 3rd set of geolanders. 255/85/16 on my 19 Tacoma. Awesome off-road. Somewhat dangerous driving on asphalt during a rain. I do land development and need the reliability of good tires. Alignment is always true. No issues.
We've owned a 2018 Tig for ~3 years and would buy again. Reliability at 60k miles has been fairly solid. We did have a problem with the fuel injector harness at 50k miles and it was replaced under warranty. No other issues. The 8 speed transmission is agreeable, no complaints. As well documented elsewhere, it is not one of the fastest compact SUVs, and the engine when pushed hard sounds more like a tractor than a sports car. The total car though is better than its rivals for us. We are running Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires which sharpened up the handling, and it already was competitive in that area. With good handling, steering and visibility, the Tig is not just competent, but even a little fun to drive in its own right. Ours is the R Line SEL Premium. The adaptive LED headlights on this trim level are good. The interior is a pleasant place to be, and materials have all held up well.
I have the Ascend LX as my summer set but I couldn't quite find a direct comparison talking about the LX compared to the GT The LX's are supposed to have been rated for 85K, but they're already at 6/32s after 25K. Other than that I haven't had much of an issue with them
Just swapped my stock Yokohama’s on my XSE with Falken Wildpeaks, these Yokohamas are garbage!!
