Water pump OEM Toyota or GMB
Engine water pump is leaking coolant. The pulley and drive belt are slinging the coolant onto other components. Highly recommend to replace with factory parts.
Electric water pump is leaking, replace with an oem toyota part dont cheap out and go aftermarket on this part.
Me and various others I know have used GMB water pumps before with no issues.
I been running a Gmb pump for couple thousand miles now. Super cheap on rock auto, they also sell a high performance one. I bought both
I’m driving a 98 Toyota Camry and just changed the water pump at 300k(which includes changing the timing belt).
I usually use rock auto and get the gmb outlander pump.
Toyota / Lexus hybrids are bulletproof if taken care of. My 2007 Toyota Prius was bulletproof. The only thing that went bad was water pump at 192000 miles.
My Tundra was awesome, but guzzled fuel and I drive like an old grandpa. 13-14 mpg is expected. Also, Tundras are fairly expensive to maintain compared to Ford. My water pump went out and it was about $1k to get fixed.
That looks like the water pump but I can be wrong. Also, there is no dipstick for the transmission anymore. Depending on the engine, there is a drain bolt on the side of the transmission on the driver side I believe near the drivetrain.
How many miles do you have? Its probably time to change the water pump if it's making noise and if it is, it needs to be replaced before it causes a whole world of hurt to your wallet.
OEM. Went aftermarket 2 times in a year replacing that pump. Finally bit the bullet and paid for toyota part.
