My CX-50 has had no problem with its windshield and I’m a month or two away from the two year mark.

I was in a similar situation 2 years ago, except it was a 2012 accord n was looking at a 2023 4runner. Biggest difference i felt in the negative side was fuel economy and throttle response. Neither are something you should expect from 4runner, and I knew that going in but driving them back to back or alternating every other day, u feel it a lot. As far as throttle response, after driving for a while I realized while it's not a k series engine n can't go like it can but its plenty powerful and it can be responsive if ur in the right gear n right rpm. windshield is a chip magnet but so is my accord. I do like the near vertical windshield, though. I feel it blocks the sun better during the day.

I had to have mine replaced less than 2 months after purchase in June 2023. A small rock got thrown up and put a big bullet hole in the glass.

The cx50 windshield sucks. I got a chip in the first month of owning it too.
