OEM Audi Engine radiator
_poland_ball_
Rating 5.0
  • Overheating:

Vehicle: Audi

OEM Audi Cabin filter

The service writer asked if I saw the video from the mechanic and asked if I had any questions. That was it. I had them do an inspection and they recommended the cabin air filter and the engine air filter for almost $300 but no one even mentioned it. Obviously I did them myself for $40.

Pros: did them myself
Cons: dealer is expensive
Vehicle: Audi

Cons: lost 10% mileage

NGK Spark plug

I also paid roughly $50 for a set of 4 iridium NGK spark plugs for my Audi a few years ago....even with an extra cylinder or two it shouldn't cost even half as much as they are estimating here.

Pros: inexpensive parts
Cons: high estimate
Vehicle: Audi

VALVOLINE Oil filter

$0 because e-Tron however, on the A5 2.0T; I’m paying $50 for oil (Valvoline full synth) and $16 for the oil filter…but I own all the tools and use my employee discount.

Pros: full synth
Vehicle: Audi A5

Sachs Clutch kit

I have the Sachs Xtend kit on my dual pulley S5 w/ss clutch line and it holds power well. My problem is that it slips on digs if I don’t quick shift into second.

Pros: holds power well
Cons: slips on digs
Vehicle: Audi S5
