I use a compatible Motorcraft filter and the Havoline synthetic that comes in the box. It gets hot. The engine is just fine. You don’t need to fret over fancy oil. It’s a Lexus.

I have found that my engine runs smoothest with the Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter and Valvoline full synthetic. The first time I put an OEM filter on the engine and fired it up, i was like woah! thats even smoother than usual!

This year I replaced front brakes and rotors on my ‘13 ES350 at 110,000 miles. Original rotors lasted 110,000 miles and I had zero issue with expecting the same performance out of OEM. Replaced with OEM brakes and rotors, operates just like new, as expected.
