148k miles, 2015 Nissan Altima S original CVT, trans flush every 30k miles, engine oil change every 7k miles, only thing replaced was battery and throttle body. Mostly freeway driving
Reviews of spare parts for Nissan Altima
I had the Pirellis on my Altima and great tires. Handled really well and much better over the Yokohamas it bad before.
I run Amsoil full synthetic CVT fluid and drain / fill every 30k miles. 180,000 miles of this. Runs like a dream. No issues.
I use Valvoline every 30k. Every 60k will guarantee you replace the transmission at 100k.
i had a 2015 Nissan Altima with the CVT transmission... the car never had a mechanical issue
Changed valve cover/gasket and installed new Bosch plugs and NGK boots.
Car had slightly higher rpms at cold startup but didn\u2019t think anything was wrong. After a few days engine started to misfire. I did some research and it sounded like I should use OEM plugs. I purchased Nissan plugs from the dealer and replaced the Bosch plugs. Misfire went away, but higher rpms at cold start persisted.
And assuming that the alternator is the issue, hope you get an oem good part or a used one, on nissan altimas/maxima Remans are bad.
‘24 Altima VC-Turbo overpriced factory Bridgestone Turanza LS100’s tread is low already
Nissan makes the WORST CVT transmissions EVER. Every Nissan I've ever seen, especially the Altima's, eventually do this crap.
Nissan put some truly awful Jatco CVTs in their cars, and it's given CVTs a bad name.
