I’m currently running RainX wiper blades on my 13 Jetta with zero issues. Ran them on my old MK4 Jetta too.
Best Wiper blades for Volkswagen Jetta
I had to get rain x like the best from auto zone then put them on with no attachments at all just slid them in and clipped it worked perfect
I put Bosch icon 24”& 19” on my 2019 jetta gli and they are absolutely amazing definitely recommend a little pricey but definitely worth it Super smooth and quiet and wipes great
I've had my 2019 S since May, 2018. The original wipers wiped OK, but began to get noisy a few months ago. We just went into the rain season here, so I replaced them with new from a VW dealer in San Antonio TX. The new ones are dead silent and wipe cleanly and completely.
Finally swapped out noisy originals with Bosch Icon 24 OE + Bosch Icon 19 OE. Huge improvement. Why did I put up with the old ones for so long? Note - Icons come in three styles as referenced up thread, A or B versions will not work. The OE Version comes with multiple adapters, out of the box it fits PTB 19mm wiper arms. 2019 Jetta uses 16mm PTB (aka narrow PTB). So just pry the #2 adapter off the blade, click on the #4 adapter, and install on the wiper arm. Voila - silent wipes!
OK, I couldn't take it anymore. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and got new blades. Their in-store system does not have 2019 Jetta's in it's database. Luckily I had my trusty iPhone and Google. Trico "Onyx" high-performance beam blades 26-240 (24" driver's side blade) 26-190 (19" passenger side blade). Cost = Too much. $41.00 - but I've got too much going on right now to schedule a trip to the stealership - so I paid for the convenience of the local parts store. Ease of install = RTFM and you'll be OK. These blades require you swap a supplied adapter into them. The arms are the narrow push button arms, so just follow the instructions with the blades to install the right adapter. Also, read the VW owner's manual to put the arms into "service" position. All easy if you read the manuals. Blades seem great - no rain today, but multiple applications of wiper fluid and using the blades returns, well, nothing. Dead silent.
The driver's side one on mine bounces at the bottom sometimes. What I did was replace it with a Bosch 22" one vs. the OEM 24" size. That solved it for me. Additionally, it annoys me that the passenger-side wiper travels smack into my field of vision, creating an annoying line on the window in the rain that makes visibility tough sometimes. Really poorly though-out wiper design.
I got some Anco wiper blades for my mk3 jetta, I got them on rock auto for about $2 each. They're the high performance ones, I don't remember which ones though. They don't skip like the Bosch ones I had on it before did.
Plus the OEM blades that came with the car were complete crap.
I just purchased a set of Bosch Icon wiper blades(19OE & 24OE) for my wife's '11 Jetta and I can't figure out how the heck to put them on. I took off the plastic piece that it comes with and tried to slide them into place between the walls but it seems that they have these little plastic edges that stick out and don't allow me to get the full mount inside.
