Alternators don\u2019t exist so you\u2019ll be using aftermarket brands like AC Delco unless you can find a rebuilt Denso.

For the price difference just get ACdelco they’re a reliable brand that doesn’t create shit and will stand behind a warranty.
Only installed GM AC Delco or Delphi pumps in these trucks
The distributor cap and rotors in these trucks are already notorious for having issues. I've only had luck with replacing these parts with AC Delco, other brands tend to develop issues pretty quickly.
Don't do it.... Get a Delco or a Wallbro.
I’ve had an AC Delco marine battery in my 67 Jeep that soldiered on for 12 years, and an “Autocraft” battery in my parent’s car that has finally given up after seven.
I noted a drop off in quality in some of OEM AC/Delco parts (purchased from the dealer) that were made in China vs. their older counterparts made in Mexico. These were upper strut mounts for my Tahoe - the Mexican made ones were absolutely quiet during winter in Canada, whereas the Chinese ones would make all sorts of noises in winter but were fine during summer.
I used ACDelco on my Hyundai Santa Fe and only lasted 8 months before almost leaving me stranded. Also noticed that aftermarket alternators lugs my engine especially during high output while original genuine alternators do not.
I bought eight new AC/Delco from eBay. While gapping the plugs, I noticed that in two of them, the ceramic was not concentric with the body of the plug. It's difficult to measure, but it's easy to see by eye. I'd estimate the error is about 0.02 to 0.03 inches.
I had the same experience and ended up getting a code. Swapped them out back to AC Delco and never had an issue.
