I put Bilstein b6 on mine but you’d have to probably do the front too if not going with OEM stuff. I also put 034 mounts which are fine on the front but I’m about to go back to stock on the back due to noise.

my e91 has bilstein B6 with stock springs and it rides great.
I installed stock(unmodified) Bilstein B4 shocks/struts on my 2017 REX with 19” wheels and the improvement was noticeable. Overall the ride was less unsettled and bouncy.
I currently run Bilsteins, but looking to change to BC Racing ones. Only cos the rear on the Bilsteins don't go low enough (3 finger gap at the lowest rear setting).
Switched to Bilstein 5100 and have always had them in the rear. I’m mostly pavement unfortunately and it’s been great
I decided to swap in the Bilstein 5100s, gotta say they ride a lot nicer when the truck is empty--We'll see how they do with a gear load on the next road trip.
B4s are below the level of stock replacement, at least for the 335 and 340. I used them previously on my E92 335i, and they were blown after 15k miles.
Save money and go 4600 if you don’t care about lift. Mine have really improved the ride.
Ended up swapping the fronts for 5100’s, while for my drive style they handle exactly as i need them too it’s a lil harsh for me on the smaller bumps so i’m debating on going with a coilover or the next option up from bilstein
I used Eibach springs on mine and Bilstein shocks it looks good and doesn't ride that bad its def rougher but its not that bad it looks 10 times better tho
