the adapter is a puzzle to figure out, but the blades are the best and well worth the frustration.
I just replaced my OEM with 16" Bosch EVO blades (driver and passenger) based on an Ineos forum post. Huge upgrade from the squeaky/jerky stock ones.
My 2017 VW Jetta 1.4 5M - at 67760 miles on the factory original plugs - now has new Bosch Iridium/Plattinum plugs - (YA5KIP80)..................(the only symptom on the old plugs was a MPG drop - no hard starting, no missing, no rough idle......... EZ
If you can find the Bosch Aerotwin for your model, they're fantastic and far better than the Volvo blades. I dealt with the streaking for a couple years until I switched.
I've been buying Bosch Icon blades pretty much for the last 10 years, and I think they crept up about $6 a set in the last couple of years. Typical set of those runs me about $50 now, but they last a full year, and work flawlessly.
Just received my PHEV 2 weeks ago and I have been enjoying every bit of it. Trust me when I say this, I am an extremely Wehmi guy, I own a Civic too. I was skeptical about the build quality but bro damnnn, the build quality is top notch! The feel of the car is so good and premium, every little bit feels very well done. Easiest example would be power windows, cabin lights etc. the quality feels amazing. As for other parts, every part is from a very well known brand for example Bosch etc. the drive? It’s just super super smooth and relaxing the con to it is that it makes me sleepy even when I am driving in the city.
I bought Bosch Icons a year ago and they didn't fit, plus I didn't want to hack a new blade up.
Bosch Icons are the best and it's not even close.
Bosch ikon but not sure they’re much better than oem. I’ve used them but I don’t think that last that much longer.
