I use Bridgestone Blizzaks. I can still get sideways when I want to, but grips good when studs aren't an option.

Generally, the best winter tires will be Bridgestone Blizzak.

I swapped them for Bridgestone Turanza and after 20,000 when I traded in, they were maybe a third worn.
