Right now I have EBC Red Stuff pads, front and rear, and there is NO dust on the wheels.. I also installed stainless steel brake lines, and that helped get rid of the spongy brake pedal.. The Red Stuff pads have a really good bite, and don't have much fade even on some of the long downhills in the mountains around here.. I've probably got close to 50,000 miles on these and there is still a lot of pad left, front and rear.. They will definitely be on the next car I get..

My Rabbit truck has 11.3 GTI rotors and calipers with EBC pads and still they fit under 15 inch wheels. And oh yea, it stops great.
Cross drilled and Slotted Rotors | EBC "Redstuff" Kevlar
I have EBC Red Stuff pads on all of my other cars, and they have been a very good choice. excellent stopping power & fade resistance, great pedal feel, no noise, and very low dust.
its pretty normal for our engines, that's one of the reasons why we change our oil every 3-4k miles. if it ever becomes much more than usual, you could be looking at a leaky seal in your HPFP or the like.

Used the BC green on my Jetta with cross drilled rotors...it stopped very nice and bust was low.
Based on the above I returned the pads to Tire Rack and installed Redstuffs.
the green stuff were on my m3 when i got it.. not a fan. dusty, noisy, and fade. they suck IMO
