I bought a Fram/Arm & Hammer cabin filter from Walmart for about $20

The orange can of death is only for 3,000 miles!!! Do the ultra synthetic, 20k mile filter. Haven't had a problem with them. I but in bulk as much as possible.
I change both air filters every 10k miles and use fram, stp and such.
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Fram Ultra Synthetic (XG10060). OEM Mopar air filters for cabin and engine. I also add 15oz bottle BioTech Lubegard in oil. Just did mine, love the results. 2021 Rebel, 60k miles, 5.7L non-e torque if it matters.
I use Fram not the greatest but I change them regularly
Just stay far far away from FRAM oil filters. I've had nothing but bad luck from those things.
Anything but Fram will be fine.
Fram are garbage
I put a Fram in my volvo once... I immediately got valve train noise, it sounded like a diesel. I put a mobil1 back in it and boom it went away. Something about the valve in there volvos really don't like.
I always used Fram. Once my jeep lost oil pressure, I had to heel/toe to keep the rpm’s up (I happened to be close to my jeep shop) thinking I needed an oil pump. My mechanic asked me what kind of filter. He recommended putting a Mopar , K&N or WIX before doing the work. He told me to never use Fram again, they have (or had, this was 3 years ago) an issue with a back flow “flap” collapsing and restricting flow. I swapped filters, that fixed the problem and I will never use Fram again, even some new premium filter.
The aftermarket ones like Fram with charcoal have noticeably restricted airflow for me. As I understand it, using the thick ones that restrict airflow can cause issues with the blower motor and resistor overheating and failing since there's not enough airflow to keep them cool (similar to operating with clogged filter).
