Make sure the shocks you buy ars KYB. These cars are heavy and have a tendency to eat cheap shocks.

KYB I have not had any issues with in normal use.
I went with KYB rear struts for my 07 Touring earlier this year and the rear feels tighter and more stable over bumps.
Ive had the same set of KYB Excels on front/rear for the last 70,000mi. They have held up incredibly well. Stiff enough to handle payload but responsive enough to mitigate a pothole on commuter roads. I would buy again, the price is great and they've lasted years.
Kyb are some of the best shocks you can get in terms of quality and lifespan. That being said they’re known for being stiffer. I happen to like it since it minimizes body roll and improves handling. Better loaded performance when towing or hauling heavy too. But you will notice it ride a little harsher.
KYB G shocks on mine f100 and they are absolutely butter
The front suspension is also completely blown out so I was going to replace the struts and rear shocks.
They’re fine stock replacements, mine just started to leak after 4k years and roughly 20,000 miles
I bought KYB shocks from a distributor to install in the struts in my '04 crv, and they lasted less than a year.
Bought new struts from kyb, one was really stuff and looked new the other one was not as stiff and had a lot of dust on it meaning it could have been sitting for a while, is possible the less stuff one is damaged and I have to return it or is it normal for there to be a little bit of variance between the sides. I was pumping them manually as I know you have too and that's when I noticed the difference..
