when we bought our 2024 Kia Sportage hybrid, the salesman was showing us around it and got around to popping the hood, I did not see a 12 volt battery.

I Had a 200k mile 2011 Soul and didn't have any major issues. 3k mile oil change, 3-5 yr battery change, some tire change, alternator replaced at 190k.

I took my 2024, Kia, Sorento Hybrid in for it's 1st oil change at 7600 miles. KIA recommends 8000K miles.

They burn oil so you have to stay in top of how much oil you have in the car. Check it every so often. I burn about a half quart every 1500 miles.

I know KIAs have improved greatly over the years, but the early ones were lemons. I used to work at a tire shop in the early 2000’s and it seemed like every KIA that came in had rusted out brake calipers and seized brake lines with low mileage.
