Personally I like K&N filters, they come with a nut welded to them so you can use a normal wrench instead of a filter wrench. Gotta be careful not to over tighten them though

I’ve had a couple sets of K&N wipers now and they’ve both lasted over a year. I used to get Bosch wipers but they’d always start streaking after 6-9 months.
I have a kn 1 on my truck and winter is about every 1k miles I empty it. Its the 6oz canister and usually about half full. From may till like October I dont even have to look in it because it doesnt get more than an oz of oil build up in it. But man winter time with the condensation sucks.
I got K&N cabin air filter and I'm so happy with it. This is reusable, washable and lasts easy for 80k miles
I just ordered the K&N air filter for my 24 Trax now that’s it’s time to replace the OEM.
They also make one for the cabin filter. Not only does it save you money it saves all the waste of throwing away all the used air filters. I’ve used them for years in all my vehicles.
There are little to no performance gains from adding a "performance" filter to a Mazda3. The benefit of K&N, imo, is cost saving due to reusability.
I did this to my 7.3 and 6.0. Did I notice anything? Not really. But mechanical and engineering theory it will do something. How is it called a "cold air in take" if its sucking the hot air within the engine bay?
Yeah you aren’t going to get a whole lot from a K&N ‘upgrade’ except maintenance. Use what the factory specifies.
Not sure about mobil1 filters, but stay away from K&N oil filters. I've just used one for an oil flush after extensive maintenance work, and after just 100 km it had collapsed.
I always say this as well. I have a k&N in my car. Both air filters. I've had the dealer pull it out and tell me it needs replaced then damaging it while putting it back in. So now I make sure they know not to touch it
