I've ran PS4's in Cali too, I think they're worth the price. Ever since I switched to Hankook all-seasons, I miss the PS4's every day.

Michelen X-ice for my XC60. Now I crunch everywhere I go but necessary in this environment.
I currently have michelin pilot sport all season 4s on and they are at 6/32nds. And they are not very good in the rain. Is that because they are worn or is that what i should expect from them? I'm worried with winter coming now that they will really struggle in any snow. I've always run all season tires on my cars and I've been fine but I'm now worried after driving these in the rain today. Is there different all seasons I should look at getting or just new michelins?
Will be same here in a few weeks, except Michelin X ice on steels. They kinda look small on the truck to me compared to the XLT wheelset but they ride good. If you have AWD, you will really be loving it in the snow. FWD is serviceable, but can slip going uphill if I have to stop. Torque steering in deep snow too, I have to apply constant corrections. AWD should be much better. There is an efficiency hit with the softer rubber, but low temps make a much bigger impact on mpg I think. Not a worry really, just the cost of doing business.
I just recently got the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s and not the ZP version because of all the known negatives of runflats and I have to say they're amazing. They improve ride quality and traction is surprisingly similar to the Eagle F1s I was running before
Michelin Defender LT M/S Quiet on pavement, handle great, good milage, excellent in rain, very good in snow, very good on dirt. Not the best option for mud, but why the heck would you want to drive in mud anyway?
I have these on my Q5 and while I like them and they are grippy, I don’t notice any difference in road noise from the stock tires.
I replaced them with the Michelin CrossClimate 2s just in time for the rainy season in my area. even with the new tires, I can easily lose traction and spin my wheels if I gun it off the line because this car is a FWD torque monster. But when I spin the CC2s, I never feel like I don\u2019t have control of the vehicle. I\u2019m really glad I upgraded the tires for the rain.
The OEM Michelin Energy Saver tires sound borderline dangerous in the rain. I'm in SoCal; the previous owner had already swapped to Michelin Defender 2s lol. The Defenders though, they got grip for days.
I’m running the alpin 5 and the ground connection was strong.
