Pradar Tires

I decided on RADAR DiMax All Weather tires from TireRack (installed by Discount Tire) because they were affordable yet have solid ratings. The DiMax’s have been working great in the snow so far - much grippier than the originals. I do expect a reduction in range, but love the improved traction.

Pros: much grippier than originals
Cons: reduction in range
Mileage: 22000 km

Also live in Minnesota. I got the cross climates. Don\u2019t have to change them out, they perform great in winter. Have had them on for 60k miles or so, mostly highway, and they still got a lot of life left.

Pros: perform great in winter, long life
Mileage: 96560 km

I use OPD on my Bolt EUV 2023 and it works wonderfully so far. We've had tons of snow and all sorts of crappy road conditions lately in Southern Quebec (I live in the country, not the city), so I have a pretty good sampling. Reminds me when I had a manual transmission.

Pros: works wonderfully

OEM Chevrolet Tires

Having gone from a WRX to a Chevy bolt, it is a very different experience. The WRX was a thousand times more fun. The turbo constantly begged you to go faster. It cornered flat and came with super sticky tires so you could go around a corner at a crazy speed. The bolt has solid straight line acceleration, but low rolling resistance tires make it much less fun, and slower in a lap around a track.

Pros: solid straight line acceleration
Cons: less fun, slower

BFGoodrich Tires

Ended up with BFG ADVANTAGE CONTROL tires. Performance was much, much better in the rain and snow but my range dropped like a rock. The tires are absolutely fine for the daily grind since I plug in every night, but efficiency dropped 20%.

Pros: better in rain, better in snow
Cons: efficiency dropped 20%

MICHELIN Tires

ripped the brand new OEM tires off my 22 EUV maybe 30 days after I took delivery, put on a set of Cross Climate 2's

That was about 56,000 miles ago, probably buying another set of CC2's early next year.

It could be 80F outside with damp asphalt and the OEM tires would struggle for grip, they are that bad.

Pros: better grip
Cons: struggle for grip, bad
Mileage: 90123 km
