I had the European aspherical mirrors on my mk5.5 Jetta Sportwagen. They perform as advertised, but beware that you will have MORE light in your eyes at night from vehicles in your blind-spot areas.

Pros: perform as advertised

Cons: more light at night

Clarity:

replaced the factory d/s mirror with one from euroland that doesnt have the dimming blown out. extra bonus of adding the blind spot bit on the end.

Pros: added blind spot

Cons: dimming blown out

Adjustment:

I've done the following and confirmed that they seem to be working: Windows up/down with remote. Mirror dips in reverse and returns; returns a little high but that seems to be a known issue without the folding mirrors w/memory.

Pros: Windows up/down with remote

Cons: returns a little high
