I replaced three out of 3 ignition coils as part of the regular maintenance and this error brought me to conclusion that the fourth ignition coil has to be replaced. Long story short, I replaced the ignition coil and engine stall problem solved!
2018 elantra sel, original owner. Mostly city driving - 8k miles/year. 47k miles now. Just wear and tear issues - front brake pads and rotor at 35k.
Hyundai's fuel aditive/cleaner is the same stuff as Techron.
2017 Elantra SE
The only major thing I had to do was replace the AC compressor and radiator. Oil changes every 5k. It did throw a P0017 code. Worked thru everything and is running great.
I do my oil changes and if i order online its less than 10$ a filter but if i dont place order online, its like 5 dollars more.
i hated how little power the stock turbo put out
I used to own a 2012 sonata and one day last year the brakes started acting extremely sensitive and would even to activate on their own (it would cancel out cruise control when my foot wasn’t touching the brakes) and would cause my car to feel like it was stalling out.
then somehow the brake pads fell off, the windscreen wiper stopped working in the middle of a storm
My I6 battery died after 4mo and 2200km (1370mi). Car is sitting at the dealership awaiting warranty decision.
