i had a big crack in my windshield and took it to tesla through tesla insurance. paid my $200 deductible and it was done in 4 hours. super easy and convenient.

the power of the cabin heater in this car is way stronger than any other car i’ve driven. I basically don’t even waste battery preconditioning because it takes like 10 times less time than the Accord.

I’m going to say yes. Had my 05 Lexus is300 for almost 20 years. 2 chips and one window replacement. I have had my 23 M3P for 8 months. One chip and then had a rock hit my window - started as another chip then within 24 hours became an 18 inch crack. Had to have it replaced.

I decided to just be a schnook and ordered a set from Tesla. But it is annoying that their wipers are a bit different and then there are side issues beyond fit, like not interfering with the sprayer nozzle.

I had mine done by the Santa Monica SC and it took them 3 times to seal it right. They also scratched the hood of my car. Overall -3/10.
