I always use winter tires and, with this car, I went with the Vikings. They are nice and quiet on dry pavement. I do miss the Blizzaks for snow confidence, but they are much louder.
Viking Contact 8 hands down best tire. Had the the 7s and were fantastic. 8s are improved and being chosen as best tire in winter tire tests.
Got this setup on a Heavy Metal 24. Tires are Viking Contact 7s tho. Super happy with the wheels.

I used Viking before but during that time I'm not really keen on comparing tyre quality. I just know that it's an affordable mid-range brand and I can use it for about 2 years.
If you want some good, but not too costly tyres, mycar sells Viking brand tyre that are rebranded Continentals. I had them on my old car and was very impressed.
Viking Contact 7s. Affordable and has an extremely high rating, even beating out Blizzaks on many tests. They are from Europe and have just arrived in Canada. Highly, highly recommended.
