Had message just like that on 2010 S60 D3.

Turned out to be faulty turbocharger and a bonus of clogged DPF.

Cons: faulty turbocharger, clogged DPF

The turbo itself on the V60 has bearing noise and a louder than normal blow-off sounds but otherwise running well.

Pros: running well

Cons: bearing noise, loud blow-off
