If I could only have one oil for all my vehicles it would be Mobil1 0w-40 because it meets all the stringent European requirements and has been shown to have a cleaning effect on dirty engines.

Older high mileage car: Pennzoil High Mileage blend. Works better for me than Valvoline MaxLife to reduce gasket seeping and weeping.

I’m not into getting my oil tested on a regular basis so 5K or annually on my synthetic seems to be working well on my 2008 Hyundai with 144K miles. I use Mobile 1.

I use AMS, 3 different oils. I find they reduce primary, engine and transmission noise, compared to syn3 in all 3 holes.

I’ve been using Penzoil Ultra Platinum in my Jeep and it’s been running great, so far lol. The cold flow properties of the oil I use is really important because the winters here can be rough, thus why after watching that video I swapped to it.

I called Amsoil and asked about this many years ago. They said for *my* bike, with the 5 speed tranny, they recommended the same 20w50 in all 3 holes.

From my knowledge it doesn't matter what brand you put in. Just make sure its quality oil that's rated for your car and do oil changes regularly. I have used Mazda branded Moly 0W-20, Mobil1 Extended Performance 0W-20 and currently Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20. Honestly I can't tell the difference between them at all.
