My 1.8t is currently filled with Rotella T6 and I swear its eating less oil now (or maybe I'm getting better with my heavy foot)
I’ve been using Valvoline full synthetic with a KN filter. Never had an issue
Been using Mobil 1 for over 20 years. Never had any issues.
Try Pennzoil Ultra Platinum next, I have used it in my WRX and I'm super happy with it. It literally makes my engine run quieter.
Valvoline full synthetic with max life tech is my current favorite but I think I might be able to unseat him soon.
After reading several posts I got the Mazda Molly and Personally really like it! With the Molly it seems to run much quieter not such a heavy tick and just overall feels better’
Mobil1. I use 10w30 in the Texas summer heat and 5w30 in the winter. 2006 c280 with 185k
Mobil 1 extended oil. Full synthetic 5W30 changed every 12,000km. Mine burns about 1 litre (pint) per every 1,500-2,000km. So I top up a few times between full on oil changes
Liqui Moly, Eneos have been my go to oils
I am still on 5w30 Mobil 1...
