So I figured out why the headlamps were not aiming at the same level.. it's cuz the auto body shop replaced my left headlight with a new one without adjusting it. So I manually adjusted the light using the adjusting screws to match the right side.

went from e-codes to in-pros .... and then back to (french) e-codes the light output is so much better w/ e-codes !! im glad about getting e-codes back in the car
My Depo headlights had the same damn problem. After posting my question a dozen times, I finally got the right answer: see onebdgti's first post in this thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3122967 Had to get a very pointy set of tweezers and move a wire over in the connector.
I installed original Bosch european headlights that I had planned to install on the car before the accident happened.
Quality build and great job with the resistors for the ring problem
I've got the Helix OEM reps on my car. My only gripe with them is that I maxed out the driver side height adjustment and once it stopped moving I didn't try to adjust it more...that's how the adjusters break. Light output is better them OEM...I find any ecode pattern is better then the DOT blob.
havem in my r32 with an HID kit and they look incredible
The InPro headlights + HID kit had a terrible beam pattern. I also got this 6000K HID KIT for 314$ shipped ... Very happy with it!
I had Depo with fogs on my GTI when I had it and with the fogs on (which are integral to the headlight) the heat from the fog melted the housing right in front. It looked like a cigarette burn right in front of the lense.
I bought a set of "smoked" DEPO's from an unnamed, supposedly reputable, used-parts seller on the vortex. Upon receiving the lights, discovered that two of the internal mounting tabs on the passenger headlights were broken.
