I opted for Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks after finding a very good deal. The Fox shocks are excellent.

I put Bilstein’s on my 16. First did the silver ones, forget the model. Those lasted 2 years. Changed those out to the uglier yellow with blue boots last summer. I like the ugly ones better.
I have the bilsteins and have no complaints. Thought they were a quality shock for the money. I really forget that I even have new shocks on the truck which tells me that they are doing their job well. Side note: I go on quite a few adventures with my truck, so the shocks get put through solid testing off road.
I don't have experience with those brands. I did just replace my '01 shocks with Duralast TwinTube shocks from AutoZone. I have to say, the ride quality is amazing and they seem to be built nicely for the money.
I use KYB's on beater passenger cars literally all the time because they last a lot longer than Monroe's and honestly they are good quality shocks (they are OEM on Toyotas and most Hondas I believe for a reason).
See vogtland springs and bilstein shocks. I used on mine and love em.
I picked them up and seem to work pretty good.
Bought some Koni Special Active s truts and shocks (hoping to get softer-than-stock ride on all the high-frequency cracks and potholes) and also looking to replace all the coil springs.
I installed them with the ECS 23mm bar. In retrospect I can't justify the additional price over say a Bilstein B6 (I installed those on my previous Jetta). I thought they would be smoother/more expensive riding than the Bilsteins, but you can still pick up every little expansion joint and imperfection in the road....unless that's what you are going for.
I personally had Bilstein OE replacements on my E46 that were leaking and failed even though they were practically brand new when we removed them.
