You should go with bilstein 6112 in the front and 5100 in the rear. You can do 5100s in the front if you are budget limited. The pistons in the 6112 are thicker and drive a lot smoother.

Go Bilstein 5100 soft (no added weight rating) with zero lift.
the car ride like a dream, the difference is night and day.
its very planted on the road before it was like a boat on fast turns, and i didn't even change the front shocks yet.
Tein EnduraPro Plus, since 10 years na din yung mu-X, I decided to get aftermarket aftermarket shock absorbers na lang.
I have Koni reds. I just wanted to rid of the wafty ride, and it fixed it up. It is a little too firm now for my liking but still better than original
I just did my friends Jeep this last week. Bilstein 4100. Anyways he says it ride's and drives like it did new again.
Just installed Meyle rear shocks on my w116, it rides great so far.
I’ve got rancho on my stock height xj right now and it’s not bad by any means but I don’t have anything to compare it to besides the blown OEM shocks that they replaced a few months back.
Have installed a bunch of their lifts and shocks. Decent lifts for the price. Shocks I'm not that impressed with.
